Quotes, Surveys & Scheduling
How do I get a quote?
Use our Contact form. We’ll give a quick estimate and then confirm everything with a free on-site survey.
Can you quote from photos?
Yes. Front, sides, and any close-ups of issues help. We’ll still confirm on site before work starts.
How soon can you start?
Lead times vary with the season. We’ll offer the next available dates when we quote and can often fit urgent jobs sooner.
What does your survey involve?
We check existing fascias/soffits/gutters, assess any timber repairs, access and ventilation, confirm colours/specs and measure up — then issue a fixed-price written quote.

Fascias, Soffits & Guttering
Do you cap over existing fascias?
We recommend full replacement of old timber rather than capping, so problems aren’t hidden and the result lasts longer.
How long does a fascia & soffit job take?
Most homes are finished in 1–2 days, depending on size and any repairs. We remove and dispose of old materials.
Can you match colours and styles?
Yes — a range of uPVC colours (white, black, anthracite, etc.) and profiles. We’ll confirm swatches during your survey.
Do you replace guttering at the same time?
Often, yes. New gutters/downpipes ensure correct falls and leak-free performance to match the new roofline.
Do you work with asbestos soffits?
If we suspect asbestos, we pause work and arrange testing/licensed removal. Safety comes first and we’ll guide you through the process.
Firestone EPDM Flat Roofs
Why EPDM over felt?
EPDM is a single-piece rubber membrane that won’t crack or blister, is low-maintenance, and is highly weather-resistant.
How long does an EPDM flat roof last?
EPDM is designed for long service life. We supply a manufacturer-backed warranty and our own workmanship guarantee — details are included with your quote.
Is EPDM noisy or hot?
No — it’s quiet in rain and compatible with insulation build-ups for warm roofs. We’ll advise the right specification.
Warm Conservatory Roofs
Will a warm roof make my conservatory usable year-round?
Yes — adding proper insulation and a new roof structure keeps it warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
Do I need building control approval?
Some systems and properties do require building control sign-off. We’ll advise for your address and include this in the quote where applicable.
Access, Scaffolding & The Day of Installation
Do you supply scaffolding?
If needed, we arrange it. It’s typically erected shortly before the job and removed soon after.
What do I need to do before you arrive?
Please clear access (driveway, side paths) and move vehicles if possible. We’ll protect areas below the working zone.
Do you take away all waste?
Yes — old materials are removed and the site is left tidy.
What if the weather is bad?
We monitor forecasts and may adjust dates for safety/quality. We’ll keep you updated.
Guarantees, Aftercare & Payments
What guarantees do you provide?
Our workmanship is covered by a 10-year guarantee. Product warranties are manufacturer-backed; we include all paperwork with your completion pack.
How do I look after my new roofline?
Just a light wash with mild soapy water as needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners or high-pressure jets up close.
What payment methods do you accept?
Details are confirmed on your quote. Payment is typically due on completion once you’re happy.
